Argentina ENACOM Certification
Certification Introduction
Argentina ENACOM certification is a mandatory certification for wireless and telecommunications products. All devices that access the public telecommunications network and use radio frequency bands need to apply for ENACOM certification. For wireless communication products exported to Argentina, ENACOM certification is required. The original regulatory unit for Argentina's wireless certification was CNC, which was later changed to AFTIC, and then changed to ENACOM after 2015.
Basic information of ENACOM certification
Is it mandatory certification: Yes
Test content: RF
Is factory inspection required: No
Local testing: Required
Local agent: Required
Certificate validity period: 3 years
Certification type
There are two forms of certification
Homologación (Argentine standard certification) or Codificación (recognized certification in the absence of standards).
Applicable product range
Most telecommunications line terminal equipment and radio frequency equipment need to be tested.
· All terminal equipment connected to the public telephone network;
· Low-power spread spectrum communication products operating in the 2.4–2.4835 GHz frequency band;
· Most radio equipment.
Application process
1. Send samples to Argentina for testing
2. No factory inspection required
3. Certificate holder: Argentine importer
4. One certificate for one model
5. One certificate for one trademark
6. Certificate validity period: 3 years
7. Certification cycle: 12-14 weeks (calculated from the time the samples arrive at the Argentine laboratory for testing and the information is complete)
Note: Argentine importers or distributors must complete ENACOM registration to obtain the certificate
Application materials
1. Spanish manual
2. Product nameplate
3. Photos of the inside and outside of the product
4. Test software
5. Technical specifications
6. Technical information
7. Antenna specifications
8. Customer basic information form
9. Argentine importer information (if any)
10. 3 samples
Others
1. The output power must meet all the following test items:
Conducted power: 500mW (PK)
Radiated power: EIRP, 43dBm (PK) and 40dBm (AV)
Power density: EIRP, 13dBm/MHz (AV)
2. Antenna gain value needs to be adjusted to meet the above output power requirements.
3. Limited to indoor use.
FCC/CE test reports issued by relevant laboratories will be used for certification applications.
