Product Description

Vietnam MIC Certification
Basic Introduction
The MIC department of Vietnam issued an announcement in early 2016 that from October 1 this year, all lithium batteries, including those sold independently and used in terminal products (notebooks, tablets, mobile phones, etc.) will require a DOC certificate (standard number: QCVN 101:2006/BTTTT). The above products will also be required to provide the battery's DOC when doing Vietnam MIC certification.
On July 4, 2016, the MIC department considered that the product testing and certification cycle was too long and battery manufacturers did not have enough time to meet the certification requirements, and issued another notice: postpone the implementation of the mandatory certification date for battery products to April 1, 2017.

The following is the notice of postponement of the mandatory certification of battery products by Vietnam MIC:
The Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (MIC) has implemented mandatory TCVN/TCN standards and specifications for electromagnetic interference and communication products in the information product category. The electromagnetic interference part can be applied for by local suppliers in the form of self-declaration, and finally approved by the Ministry of Information, and the product can be sold in the Vietnamese market.
Vietnam's battery certification regulations QCVN 101:2016/BTTTT correspond to the IEC testing standards IEC61960 (2011) and IEC62133 (2012). [Note: Both standards must be met at the same time to meet the QCVN standards. 】
