Japan giteki certification
basic introduction
Japan's Giteki certification generally relies on the "Radio Wave Law" and "Electric Communications Business Law" promulgated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (English full name: Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, MIC). Certification based on ぎょうほう.
Wireless products such as Bluetooth speakers, laptops, mobile phones, and Bluetooth headsets require Giteki certification as long as they are sold in Japan. And the giteki logo and the issued number must be affixed or printed on the product label. Without this certification, direct sales in Japan are illegal and will be severely punished.
The full name of Telec is: Telecom Engineering Center (Telecom Engineering Center). In the early days, it was the first legal institution in Japan to conduct radio wave law certification, which caused some people in mainland China to mistakenly believe that Japan's giteki certification is telec certification. In fact, in the early days, TELEC could only certify the radio wave aspects of giteki, but could not certify the telecommunications and communications industry. Of course, in July 2014, TELEC finally obtained the certification qualification for the Japanese telecommunications and communications industry.
