Certification Introduction:
Under normal circumstances, when a finished product passes BQB certification, the test will be divided into two parts. One part is the RF test of the circuit board, and the other part is the PROFILE test of the entire machine. The PROFILE test of the whole machine is to test the functions supported by Bluetooth when the product is actually used. Different products have different Bluetooth functions and support different PROFILEs. Its unique cultural image consists of concepts, rituals, symbols, ways of doing things, etc. In simple terms, it is all aspects of an enterprise's daily operations.
PART/1 Bluetooth speakers
This type of product generally has the Sink role of A2DP (Advanced AudioDistribution Profile), and the test sample can receive the audio transmitted from the audio source. The CT (Controller) and TG (Target) roles of AVRCP (Au-dio/Video Remote Control Profile) test control functions such as song playback and pause, song up and down, volume increase and decrease, etc. The HF (Hands-Free) role of HFP (Hands-Free Profile) can test call-related functions such as answering and hanging up calls on the prototype.
PART/2 Mobile phone and tablet projector with intelligent operating system
1. The Source role of A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) tests whether the prototype’s function of transmitting audio to the Sink is complete.
2. The TG role of AVRCP is used to verify that the prototype can perform various operations on music in the APP.
3. The Object PushServer role of OPP (Object Push Profile), the test prototype can receive files through Bluetooth
4. If the product can insert a phone card to make calls and send text messages, it will still be supported.
5. PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile), tests phone book related functions.
6. AG role (Audio Gateway) of HFP (Hands-Free), test the prototype to make phone calls and other call functions
7. MAP (Message Access Profile), tests the product’s ability to send and receive text messages.
PART/3 Common products that support Bluetooth Low Energy
Remote controls, locators, Bluetooth keyboards and other common products that support Bluetooth low energy.
Depending on their function settings, these products may support the following
1) BAS (Battery Service), verify the battery service function in Bluetooth products
2) DIS (DeviceInformation Service) verifies the function of the device information service in the Bluetooth host
3) HIDS (HID Service), verify the function of HID service in the Bluetooth host
4) HOGP (HID over GATT Profile)
Bluetooth certification is also BQB certification. In short, if your product has Bluetooth function and the Bluetooth logo is marked on the product appearance, it must pass BQB certification. Bluetooth certification is a certification process that any product using Bluetooth wireless technology must undergo. Bluetooth wireless technology defined in the Bluetooth System Specification allows short-range wireless data connections between devices.
Products with Bluetooth functionality and a Bluetooth logo marked on the product appearance must pass Bluetooth BQB (Bluetooth Qualification Body) certification.
Standard reference
The Bluetooth Certification Program Reference Document is the standard reference for the product certification process.
Members of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group have a royalty-free right to use Bluetooth wireless technology in product listings on the Bluetooth Qualified Product List (QPL). Bluetooth SIG membership is free.
The Bluetooth QPL lists all licensed Bluetooth products, subsystems, components and development tools. Products listed in the QPL are specifically authorized by Bluetooth Qualification Bodies (BQBs) located around the world. Any BQB can evaluate, certify, and list any product for certification. Joining BQB early can minimize product development time and costs.
organize
The Bluetooth Product Certification Guidelines, documented in the PRD, are developed by the Bluetooth Certification Evaluation Board (BQRB), which is elected by representatives from the nine Bluetooth SIG sponsoring companies. The certification process is handled by the Bluetooth Certification Administrator (BQA) who represents the interests of the BQRB.
BQRB recognizes individual Bluetooth Qualification Bodies (BQBs) and authorizes them to certify and list products. The BQRB also recognizes Bluetooth Qualified Test Facilities (BQTFs) that have been qualified to perform and report Class A test results (see the Certification Process Description for more detailed information). BQRB also accredits Bluetooth technology estimators, who evaluate and recommend BQTF candidates.
Bluetooth BQB certification cycle and sample requirements
1) Certification cycle: 1-2 weeks;
2) Sample quantity: 2 finished products, 2 engineering prototypes (enter BQB test mode).
